PL's Spring Cleanup Event
Friday and Saturday, April 25-26
Come and work to awaken Pilgrim Lodge from a long winter's nap
Raking leaves, stacking wood, clearing brush, floating docks, sweeping floors, washing windows: there's so much to do to clean up PL after the winter and get ready for summer! We need your help, and there's something to do for everyone!
Friday is informal, arrive and leave anytime 8:00 am - sundown or stay overnight. No meals provided on Friday as we are cleaning the kitchen so bring your own.
Saturday Breakfast is only for those who stayed over is at 8 am.
Coming just for Saturday? Arrive any time 8:30 or later, work ends by 4 pm. Lunch is served.
There is no fee for Jump Start Weekend, although donations are accepted.
Who may attend?
Adults over 18 years old and 9-12th graders. 6th-8th graders may register if they are accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them
throughout the weekend such as a parent, or a youth group leader. Please, no children younger than 6th grade due to safety concerns.
Who needs a health
form?
All minors need a health form.
Page one must be signed by a parent. While a doctor's signature is not
necessary for Jump Start Weekend, if you are going to use the form later in
the summer it will need to be signed by a doctor.
Download a permission form for minors
Bring work equipment if you've got it (write your name on it). Gloves, rakes, shovels, chainsaws, garden tools, construction tools.
Registration: For individual adults, no registration is necessary just show up! If coming in a large group call and let us know (207-724-3200)
YOUTH GROUPS 6th grade an older are welcome but be sure to have at least one adult for every five minors and do call and let us know you're coming. Permission forms and health forms are needed for all minors. (207-724-3200)
If you want to stay overnight: Call for a reservation, (207-724-3200) and bring a WARM sleeping bag and warm sleeping clothes.
