Pilgrim Lodge Welcomes New Director!

Jennifer L Paty (Jen) is our new settled Director. Jen’s strong leadership, excellent ministry, social justice experience, steadfast work ethic, and contagious enthusiasm for Pilgrim Lodge and Youth Leadership are just a few of the attributes she brings to Pilgrim Lodge and the Maine Conference UCC.  We are confident that Jen will guide us through our commitment to sustainability while also maintaining the Essence that is the Camp we love so much. Jen knows fun and by her own experience knows how important Camp Life is in the lives of those who grow up in Camp as well as those coming to Camp for the first time.  She brings a wealth of knowledge overseeing the health, safety, recreation programs, family services and infrastructure for large US Military Installations both here in the United States and overseas.  She holds a MDiv has 15 years’ experience as a Senior Pastor, spiritual educator, human rights and equal rights activist and street minister for homeless LGBTQ2Spirit youth.   As a bonus, Jennifer is formally educated in Marketing and has 5 years of experience in up-to-date and ever-changing social media and internet marketing. She has, with her wife and business partner Amy, successfully built an independent business in Couples and Relationship Counseling and Couples Imago and Encountered Centered Workshops and Intensives. Together they have presented hundreds of successful workshops here in Maine, across the United States and in Canada.  Jennifer is also a Spiritual Advisor and Educator for young professionals.  Fun Fact: Jennifer can cook a gourmet meal on a two burner camp stove or kerosene heater – comes in handy during Maine’s power outages.
