Dear Clergy….
What a season it has been for ministry! We invite authorized ministers, members in discernment and retired clergy of the Maine Conference and beyond to join us for time for rest, rejuvenation, and renewal at Pilgrim Lodge. Under the leadership of the Dean for the Retreat, Rev. Marraine Kettell, it will be a time for fellowship, art, worship, prayer, rest, swimming, and much more. There will be an optional discussion of the book, Rest is Resistance: A Manifesto by Tricia Hersey who is the founder of Nap Ministry. You are welcome to participate in as much or as little of the programming as you’d like.
Vitality Funds
To support clergy in their work and wellness, Maine Conference UCC Vitality Funds are available to support the cost of this opportunity. If you would like to apply for funds, please complete this scholarship application form.
Register for the program through the Pilgrim Lodge website here.

Students of the Maine School of Ministry (MESOM)
MESOM’s summer term June Intensive course “Theology of Ministry” will be offered in conjunction with Praycation at Pilgrim Lodge. For MIDs who are working with a Committee on Ministry, this course supports portfolio-building toward the Marks of Faithful and Effective Authorized Ministers, in the wonderful setting of a three-day retreat. MESOM students will meet in-person June 5-7 in a retreat track led by MESOM instructors.
MESOM students will register through MESOM (not the Pilgrim Lodge website). Head to the MESOM webpage for more information and a link to register. For questions, contact Acting Dean, Rev. Malcolm Himschoot at mhimschoot@maineucc.org.
