The June Intensive of the Maine School of Ministry will take place at Pilgrim Lodge.

This year’s course is called ““Retire and Become A Saint: Practicing Christian Spirituality at a Major Life Transition” and will be led by Rev. Carol Kerr and Rev. Dr. Deb Jenks.

The course is led by a professor of Christian spirituality and a former associate conference minister. It is focused on spiritual practices along the journey of life with God. There are tracks for lay people inquiring after their purpose in the world, Maine retirees open to serving the church, and UCC clergy in or nearing retirement. This course is ideal for those exploring spiritual practices, major life transition, and God’s creative and steadfast calling. For those who are retired ministers, with the approval of a Committee on Ministry this course may satisfy boundary education requirements. For laypersons, this course will equip finding purpose and meaning in life through values clarification, grief and loss, friendship and community.

Registration for this course at Pilgrim Lodge is through the Maine School of Ministry.

Registration is open on the website of the Maine School of Ministry.

For more information, contact Rev. Dr. Malcolm Himschoot, Dean of the Maine School of Ministry at mhimschoot@maineucc.org.
